My WWDC 14' app primarily featured a Siri-like voice recognition interface. Users are able to ask various questions and receive answers instantly. The questions can be asked in a number of different ways, as the app uses Natural Language Processing. This technology matches questions to the appropriate response, no matter how it is worded. Possible questions include a joke request, the time, and various information about myself. Along with the voice recognition, I chose to create a passbook style “deck of cards” in order to organize my personal profile. When one of the cards is selected, it slides up to reveal something about myself to the reader. Each card categorizes a different aspect of my life, such as “Hobbies” or “Awards”. In addition, I added a map of all the places where I can be found. This includes my school, house, local Apple store, where I play soccer, and much more. As the user interface of my app plays a major role, I spent a lot of time designing the appearance of my app. I chose bright shades of green, purple, pink and blue, with a little bit of white. I used a blur effect to take attention away from the background and draw the users’ focus on to the focal points of my app.
